The only Blüthner piano I have ever played. Wonderful instrument! Blüthner was Tchaikovsky’s personal piano; as well as the piano used on the Beatles’ “Let It Be” track.
The stunning fully restored 1924 Mason & Hamlin grand piano I get to play about ~ once a month.
An 1848 Bösendorfer imported to Sonoma County from Austria back around the 1960’s.
The piano I most enjoy playing in my regular route: a 1934 Chickering. As well as my favorite piano make of all. Likely built in New York just after the company relocated from the Boston area.
The 1901 Steinway that was owned by Jack London’s wife Charmian. We members of the “Jack London Piano Club” perform on this fully restored grand twice a year in fundraisers.
This is a Bergmann TG-157 grand piano. Actually just a subsidiary line of Young Chang. Bergmann production began around 1997. This instrument was built in China in the year 2001.
This is a Heintzman & Co. upright. Built in 1894, Heintzman was the primary (and maybe the only?) piano builder in Canada.
Here is the Schimmel grand piano I have played periodically inside the Atrium at the Meadows Of Napa Valley. One of the great German piano builders, Schimmels were produced in the Leipzig area, beginning in 1885.
Probably the very “newest” instrument I’ve ever played. I don’t even have serial number records on this Yamaha GB-1 grand. It’s probably less than a year old. I’ll be performing on this at Villa Capri mid-September. Yamaha’s GB pianos are the more compact versions of their CX, GC, and C3 line of instruments.
